Bettina Bögl

Bettina Bögl is at home in the gravel and long-distance cycling scene and found her way to ultra-cycling via a personal turning point. After being diagnosed with a herniated disc, she was looking for a new goal and, through an acquaintance, discovered her passion for long distances, personal responsibility, and being on the road for many days at a time during the Three Peaks race.

Her journey has been shaped by races such as the Taunus Bikepacking Race, the Northcape 4000 with its cold nights and logistical challenges, and the Bohemian Border Bash. Her participation just nine months after giving birth was particularly impressive. For Bettina, it's not just about athletic performance, but also about the experience of being able to face major challenges even under new life circumstances.

Their approach to ultra and long-distance cycling is clearly focused. Long days in the saddle, self-determined action, and concentration on the essentials characterize their races. Every detail counts, from the weight to the functionality of their equipment. Reliability is not a comfort, but a prerequisite.

Cyclite perfectly aligns with Bettina's understanding. Personal contact, close communication, and regional proximity are central to her. The bags support her sport where it takes place, over long distances, with clear functionality and without unnecessary weight.

Mindset: "I want to show other women that everything is possible, even with a family."
