Fabian Wurm has been part of the ultra and bikepacking scene since 2019 and discovered his passion for long-distance cycling rather by chance. The simplicity of being on the road and the constantly changing landscapes quickly became the core of what cycling means to him.

His focus is clearly on off-road races. Formats like the Atlas Mountain Race, Race Around Rwanda, and the Hellenic Mountain Race have particularly influenced him. Not only through their sporting demands, but also through the culture, remoteness, and the feeling of solitude and freedom. For him, races like the Alps Divide or the PIRENEICA represent less about rankings and more about intense, liberating experiences far removed from civilization.

Fabian deliberately takes a low-risk approach. For him, pushing personal boundaries doesn't mean making rash decisions. Safety, a clear overview, and a controlled journey are always his top priorities. His goal is clearly defined: to arrive, experience the journey, and return home safe and sound.

Cyclite suits Fabian perfectly because of his passion, adventurous spirit, and lighthearted approach. Functional gear that is minimalist, robust, and reliable gives him the freedom to focus on what matters most: the ride itself.
