SADDLE BAG SMALL / 01 is a small and ultra-lightweight saddle bag.

The bag is the perfect companion for all adventures where you need to be compact and light on the move, like the spontaneous overnighter, shorter bikepacking trips or an unsupported multi-day race.

The saddle bag with a volume of 8 liters is perfect for accommodating things for the night such as a sleeping bag, mat or a change of clothes.

8.0 l volume and full of functions
Practical features are the roll closure, elastic straps, reflectors, lamp holder and the stable SR system for tail-wagging-free attachment below the saddle.
The volume can be reduced to approx. 5 litres by rolling it up.

Compatibility

Size: 25-38 x 21 x 17 cm (L x H x W)

The SADDLE BAG requires a minimum vertical distance of 21 cm between the lower edge of the saddle and the rear tire (measured with fullies in the compressed state).

Usage with aero seatposts possible. Maximum post width = 6cm.
Use with carbon seatposts is equally possible.

By using 3D BAG FIT, you can virtually view the bag on your bike.

COMPACT AND FEATHERLIGHT

The smaller version of our SADDLE BAG is perfect for shorter trips or multi-day races without support. Like its larger counterpart, this saddlebag features carbon reinforcement, which, together with the side compression straps, ensures maximum stability—without shifting or swaying.

At just 228 grams, it remains incredibly lightweight—so you can enjoy your experience without unnecessary bulk. Additionally, you can reduce the volume from eight to five liters by rolling it up. Of course, your radar rear light can be securely attached to the saddlebag with the separately available RADAR MOUNT.

In 2020 we, Christoph and Max, founded CYCLITE between Lake Chiemsee and the Chiemgau Alps.

We have been bikepackers ourselves for many years and couldn't find any transport solutions that met our requirements. This is how our vision was born: ultra-light, functional, well-designed and as sustainable as possible products for transporting luggage on bikes. All products are developed in Grassau and intensively tested at every opportunity.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer kleine leichten Lösung, um mein Schlafsetup bei Ultras mitzunehmen. Dabei war mir auch ein Netz wichtig, um dort meine Regenkleidung trocknen zu können.

Zuletzt war ich von klassischen Satteltaschen total ab: am Rad sind sie schwer zu befüllen oder das anbringen am Rad dauert. Nachdem der Packsack in meinem letzten Harness-System undicht wurde und ich schon länger das besagte Netz vermisst habe, gab ich der Saddle Bag Small mal eine Chance und sie hat überzeugt: sie ist leicht, trotzdem dicht und lässt sich gefühlt schneller befestigen, als Packsäcke in einem Harness-System. Auch bei einem ungewollten Besuch im Bikeshop war das de- und spätere remontieren eine Sache von Sekunden. Für diese geniale Lösung allein 5/5 Sternen.

Einen Stern Abzug gibt's am Ende doch: bei zu hartem Gelände kann es vorkommen, dass man die Tasche hin und wieder nachziehen muss, und der Haken für den Becher war nicht mal stark genug um mein super leichtes Schloss zu halten. Jetzt muss ein neues her...

Super Tasche, einfach zu montieren und während der Fahrt nicht zu spüren.

Während ich die altbackenen herkömmlichen Satteltaschen benutzen muss, hat mein Mann an seinem flotten Gravelbike eine passende Tasche!
