Use yours Bike for ski transport!
With the SKI RACK / 03 new opportunities open up for Ski tourers (and splitboard users). Whether the entire journey to the ski tour in an environmentally friendly way by bike, the shortcut on a lengthy forest road, pedaling into a remote valley or reaching the snow line on roads that may still be closed - the radius of action is significantly increased thanks to the combination of ski and bike and enables impressive nature experiences.
The SKI RACK is also ideal for an uncomplicated and environmentally friendly bike ride to the nearest one Cross-country skiing trail.
We have developed the SKI RACK so that the skis can be quickly and safely attached to the bike.
The third generation of the SKI RACK is now even more universal and convenient.
Thanks to the size adjustment, it can also be easily attached to e-bikes with very large top tubes. The rack and skis can now be attached even more quickly and easily in seconds. And the poles can now also be attached better and more easily.

How long does it take to attach the SKI RACK to the bike?
Both brackets can be attached and removed in just a few seconds.
How long does it take to attach the skis to the SKI RACK?
The skis are simply placed in the holders of the SKI RACK and secured with the straps by closing three buckles. This is just as quick as putting them in the trunk.
What do I do with the ski poles?
The ski poles can simply be securely fixed first with the handles forward, with the extra strap on the front bracket and together with the skis on the rear bracket.
What do I do with the ski boots?
One option (and the one we prefer) is to put on your ski boots for cycling. This means you don't have to wear them and your feet stay warm and dry. Modern ski touring boots also offer enough freedom of movement.
The second option is to fix them in the ski binding. Since they protrude from behind the saddle, they do not interfere with cycling. To prevent moisture and dirt from getting into the inner shoe, bags should be placed over the shoes. The disadvantage is the deteriorating driving dynamics due to the additional weight on the ski.
The third option is of course to transport the ski boots on or in a backpack, but this puts a lot of pressure on the shoulders and seat bones on long journeys.
Compatibility
Which bikes is the SKI RACK suitable for?
Basically for all bikes that have a Top tube with a width between 33 mm (e.g. classic steel frame) and 100mm (e.g. carbon frames with a large headset and e-bikes). If the SKI RACK is attached to a very narrow frame, the included foam spacer ring can be used.
Depending on the frame shape and ski length, the position of the front bracket can be optimized by sliding it forward or backward.
The rear bracket can be attached to all standard saddles (both 7mm round and 7x9mm oval) as long as there is still 15mm of space behind the clamping head of the seat post (if not: push the saddle slightly backwards).
The distance between the bottom edge of the saddle frame and the top edge of the tire must be at least 16cm.
Which skis is the SKI RACK suitable for?
All types of skis can be attached to the SKI RACK: from narrow cross-country skis to extremely fat freeriders or splitboards. We've even used it to transport roller skis (and garden tools). Depending on the length and curvature of the ski, the position of the front bracket must be optimized by pushing it forward or back.
